I’ve lost what it feels like
to love you.
I can’t quite place
how to erase
the sorrow I faced
That feeling of faithful devotion
not forgotten, just
displaced
Forced to leave its cuddly cove,
my heart now hums, hush, huddled
in a frigid, frozen, fortress.
A cold cave replaced its
cozy cove.
love,
where did you go?
why did you stray?
when home was nothing short of perfection?
Such a puzzle the Garden of Eden.
When Adam and Eve left,
it was nowhere to be found.
A forgotten pith of a dream
among all the lost stolen things.
