#ThankfulThursday: Some Things I’m Thankful For

Hello my field daisies! Gonna make this post quick, so I can go back to enjoying Thanksgiving 🙂

I am thankful for my family.

Gotta get that one right off the bat. This seems like a duh one, but truly I am so thankful for everything my parents have done for me. My mother always says whatever in her closet is always mine, and I know not all mothers are like that. My father told me he would rather live poor and give all his money to my brother and me, and I believe it. He paid for my entire college education, so I wouldn’t have any loans (and this is out of state mind you). Both have given me everything freely and lovingly.

And my brother! We are so close in age,  and we have a bond I share with no one else. We don’t talk as often as we should, but when we do, it’s like time has not changed a thing. I know he will always have my back, and honestly he’s my oldest friend. We have so many memories, and I don’t know what I would do without him.

I am thankful for my friends.

Friends are what make life worthwhile. I am so thankful for the support system I have. Without these people in my life, the world would seem like a dark cold space. They complete me, and I know they will always be there for me. I can call them and tell them my woes, and they make me feel so much better each time.

These are not all the pictures nor the best pictures of my friends, but I’m doing this quick so bear with me.

I am thankful for my boyfriend.

What can I say? I’m in love with this guy, and he’s been the best boyfriend a girl could ask for. The times we have had together makes my heart warm and full. I am thankful for his kindness, his love, his intellect, and his strength. Lol without him helping carry the groceries from our car to our apartment would be such a hassle. 😛

He’s also stuck by my side through good times and the bad times, and for that I am forever grateful.

I am thankful I don’t have to cook this year.

Every year since high school really I’ve cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my family. While this is one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving, I’m glad my boyfriend and I decided to order a premade Thanksgiving dinner all ready to eat. To be honest, our kitchen is too small for me to really cook Thanksgiving properly, so now for the first time ever, I have a relaxing Thanksgiving with just the two of us. It’s nice.

Love ya’ll and thanks for reading!

Hope you have a daisyish day!
