Honeycomb

Honeycomb

by Daisy Dai

You, lit a fire in me,
A steady warmth,
It lights up quietly.

You, give me comfort,
A feeling of wholeness,
It takes no effort.

You, smell like home,
A place that tastes,
Sweet, like a honeycomb.

You, with your smile,
A glowing, grin glistening,
As I walk down the aisle.

I, never knew love could be,
Such a sunny chasm,
A carefree matrimony.
