mundane streets
and into the frames of your favorite
movie scene

The charming heroine in the
novel you can’t stop reading

The girl your favorite singer
whispers into your ear

I would stay in your mind as you drift asleep
and be that lovely face that reappears
in your sweetest dreams

So catch me darling for I am
helplessly bored and helplessly falling
for you

Hoping one day to steal your gaze
and bask in the aura of your smile
