Taste the real thing

Taste the real thing

By Daisy Dai

Looking at a mere picture of you
Turns the corners of my mouth slightly up,
A sly smile to match yours,
A small smirk as you look at me,
So softly, so sweetly, so freely,
So I glaze upon your sugary soul,
Wishing wistfully I could
Taste the real thing
