Newly Joined

I’ve arrived. That space we’ve all heard about. That place called heaven.

It’s colder than I expected. I guess clouds really are full of cool rain.

I glide through the sleek air.
The dew dripping on my new digs.

Skin no longer skin. Blood no longer coursing my veins. I’ve become sparkly.

Glitter glistens gladly. Full of glee I step inside the gates that glow so sweetly.

Nerves suddenly hit my network.
Nervously I look through the nests.

Hopefully hunting for you.
Because without you heaven would never be heavenly.

Then, like magic, you materalize, we embrace.
Newly joined, at last, for eternity.
