Beech Tree

I found refuge under a beautiful beech tree.
I found relief in its leaves.
They sing to me in a pretty green,
and I hummed along pleasantly.
What a fine tune they sang,
and in my ears it rang.
A soft piano ballad in a dimly lit room,
candles and a white linen table set for two.
I imagined you there with me under this
beautiful beech tree and in that dimly lit room,
together just humming along to the
pleasant green tune of those pretty green leaves.

And what a beautiful song they did sing.
