Hello my field daises!
If you are wondering what I am blindly gazing at, let me try to describe it to you. Basically the hotel I was staying at was doing some construction on the top floor. Out the top floor window was a huge pipe made out of big, grey, industrial trash cans that the workers were using to throw trash from the top floor into the dumpster. It looked like something straight out of a cartoon. An odd site indeed. I gotta give them credit for being creative. I suppose it saves the time of having to walk all the way down to throw something away. Although I couldn’t understand how they made it in the first place. What was holding the trash cans together? How did they cut the bottoms off such hard plastic? Could you slide down it? These were the questions running through my mind.
The outfit I am wearing is very simple. Just a striped tank top with some grey studded shorts. I’ve worn these shorts in another blog post a while back when my hair was only at my shoulders. My gold Steve Madden shoes are my favorite flats that I currently own. I always get compliments when I wear them. I guess because it is rare to see gold spray painted shoes. They are made of soft leather, making them extremely flexible and really comfortable to wear. I can slip them on and off without having to untie the laces. Those are the best kind of shoes. Ones that require minimal effort to put on.
The back of my shirt is the cool part. Instead of think stripes, there is a section of thinner stripes. It adds depth to my otherwise plain tank top, making it different and unique.
The shirt is stitched in such a way that the front is shorter than the back. It’s loose, comfortable and cute.
The necklace I am wearing is from Kohl’s, a department store that has a surprisingly good collection of jewelry. What’s cooler than a panther head? Not much. Statement necklaces are all the rage these days, but I don’t really like them that much. I have one, and I’ve worn it for a shoot, but other than that I rarely wear it because it’s too heavy. I like long dangly necklaces. I think they look more elegant and lighter. My ring is from an unknown origin. I got it from my mom, so who knows how old it really is.
Love ya’ll and thanks for reading!
Hope you have a daisyish day!
