Review Reader Addict

Hello my field daisies!

I have a confession to make… I am a review reader addict. My whole life is based on Internet reviews. If I buy something I Amazon, I have to read every review before I do. When I am picking classes, I look at both Course Rank and Rate My Professor. New restaurants, vacationing spots, books, movies… You name it, I’ve read a review about it. To me, Yelp and Rotten Tomatoes hold the key to a good time. Maybe I am like a horse with blinders, and my tunnel vision has made me reliant on others and their opinions. But I have faith in the power of aggregate opinion. I don’t think every individual review holds insight. But a group of good ones and bad ones allows you to get a good sense of the quality of something. All l I know is my review reading has yet to lead down a wrong path, and that definitely goes for Boyhood. With a 99% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it is certified fresh, a title definitely deserved. Read my review of the movie here
