Pinball Machine

Pinball Machine
By Daisy Dai

What happens to all the
pinball machines?

Some get squeezed out
of a pizza parlor,
parts broken with care.

Some get removed
from a student center,
parts shiny and new.

Some get rolled out
of a bowling alley,
parts stale from cigarette smoke.

And finally some, if they are lucky,

Get repaired by a collector,
parts worn and adorned,
their lights blinking for eternity.
