Ice Cream Cone

Ice Cream Cone
By Daisy Dai

Sometimes I love
too deeply

Forgetting love
is like an
ice cream cone

And if I squeeze
too tightly

It will burst

Pieces of precious
cone crumbling
in my grasping grip

Before either of us
could have a lick
