Biker Love

Hello my field daisies!

Don’t you just adore my shoes? Sadly we forgot to get a close up of them, but they are Steve Madden (I got them at a local boutique called Behind the Glass for $30) If you look closely you will see pointy metallic studs all over these black kicks. I think that is so bad ass.

Today I wanted use a biker mentality but add a girly twist. I have decided to make a vintage black leather motor jacket the centerpiece of my outfit. This jacket was my mom’s when she lived in Germany way before I was born.

Given the fact it is summer, I dressed the jacket with some blue high waisted shorts I found at the thrift store for $4 and a crop top that I found at JCPenny’s for $5. The shorts are just plain jane light blue, but they fit me so nicely I wear them often. The crop top is very light and perfect for the summer. I love how it has a sweet pastel flower pattern. It also doesn’t cover my entire upper half so my midriff is showing.

This look is what I like to call edgy, but feminine. It is daring, yet still soft and sweet.

I think I would make a pretty cool biker chick >.<

Haha I kid I kid!

But this outfit does make me want to hop on a Harley and ride for hours.

(and it’s comfortable enough that hours of riding would not be a problem!)

If the summer heat becomes too much for me, all I have to do is take off the jacket 🙂

I will have to wait until the weather cools down before I start wearing my leather jacket everywhere.

But I absolutely love these high waisted shorts and this crop top. It will be my go to outfit during the summertime.
